Obituary for Herman Handler

Herman Handler died on March 19, 1961, in Youngstown, Ohio. There was a brief obituary in the Akron Beacon Journal the following day, which wonderfully ties together much of what I've found about the family.

"Herman Handler," Akron Beacon Journal, 20 March 1961, p. 24, col. 1;

The children's names are all as expected.
I know he had a younger sister Regina, but I have not searched for Regina Fleisshacker in great detail.

A few discrepancies:
He immigrated in 1904, not 1905.
He was born in Erdevik, a community that was Hungary when he was born, was part of Yugoslavia for much of the 20th century, and is now in Serbia (on the border of Croatia). See Mappy Monday: Where the Handlers Were From.
He lived in Butler, West Virginia, for a short time during the time of his second divorce, before he moved to Youngstown.

Sherbondy Hill Cemetery is now known as Akron Hebrew Cemetery and there is a FindAGrave memorial for him with a photograph of the gravestone, which provides his exact birth date (February 10, 1882) and death date (March 19, 1961).

As I have been relating for the past few months, there are plenty of records to be found for Herman Handler, my father-in-law's half first cousin. If you descend from this branch of the Handler family, I'd love to hear from you!
